Postal Strike - Water and Garbage Billing (St. Michael/Hilliard)

Be advised during a postal strike, bills are not sent to residents by mail. You can pick up a copy of bills for water (St. Michael) or garbage (Hilliard) at the Lamont County Administration Building during normal business hours. We apologize for this inconvenience. NOTE: Bill payment is still due by the normal deadlines and unpaid bills will incur late fees.

WEEKLY STATUS UPDATES (Oct. 6-10):

Road Gravelling and Repair Work:

  • AT/Pesaruk pit work ongoing (gate installation).
  • TWP574 Road improvements.
  • Cold mix patching, as required.
  • Gravel patching, as required.
  • Bridge culvert replacement on RR184 S of HWY15.

Drainage Activities:

  • Drainage work in Division 1:
    • N/A.
  • Drainage work in Division 2:
    • Drainage work continues (internal crews). 
  • Drainage work in Division 3:
    • N/A
  • Drainage work in Division 4:
    • N/A.
  • Drainage work in Division 5:

Oiled Dust Abatement Patching and Dust Abatement:

  • N/A.

Miscellaneous:

  • Hauling waste material from Lamont Yard (as trucks available).
  • Garbage pick up, as required.
  • Sign repair/replacement, as required.
  • Fallen tree clearing, as required.
