During the current postal strike, Lamont County is working on all alternatives for accounts payable and invoicing, including any outstanding tax payments or land title requests. With no mail delivery, options include in person at the Admin. Building, online banking, after-hours drop box, and courier delivery. Please be patient as the strike continues. IMPORTANT: PERMITS ARE NOT APPROVED UNTIL YOU RECEIVE CONFIRMATION FROM LAMONT COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES.

Please complete the following application to request approval for fireworks (low hazard).

Will be entered by Lamont County Emergency Services upon approval. Please fill out the entire form to request permit.

Pursuant to Article 5.8.1 of the Alberta Fire Code (on approval), Lamont County hereby permits:

IMPORTANT

The permit holder shall indemnify and save harmless Lamont County, its agents, servants and employees from any and all liabilities, damages, costs, suits or actions arising out of the use of the fireworks for which this permit is valid and any damage to property, real or personal or injury to any person or persons including death resulting therefrom.

This permit may be cancelled or the permit holder may be ordered to cease the discharging, firing, or setting off of fireworks when in the opinion of the Safety Codes Officer or fire department, it is considered necessary to do so for reasons of safety.

The permit holder shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Alberta Fire Code, including amendments as they may occur from time to time. 

I am 18 years old or over and have been made aware of the regulations on the reverse side of this permit, and I understand the regulations and information contained herein.
