Regular Council meetings are typically held in Council Chambers on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (Lamont County Administration Building 5303-50 avenue, Lamont AB), commencing at 9:00 a.m. See the schedule under Attend a Council Meeting or the 2023-24 Meeting Agendas and Minutes as below for remote (Teams) access and meeting Highlights.

*Please Note* Regular Council Meeting agendas are posted the Friday before Council Meetings. All meeting minutes are posted as soon as possible after these are approved by Council.
Please note: the public is welcome to attend all council and committee meetings. Some meetings may require information to be discussed in closed session as related to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) to protect the privacy of information and not disclose potentially harmful information related to individuals, projects and activities under the Act.
Any member of the public has the right to be present at council and council committee meetings. To attend a meeting onsite, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the meeting start. Lamont County is committed to following public health guidelines (including) during the Covid-19 pandemic, and masks are at individual discretion.

If you would like to speak to Council during a meeting, please submit your request to appear before Council to the Legislative Services Officer or Agricultural Services Board (ASB), a minimum of 10 business days prior to the Council meeting.
- For Council Delegations: complete the Delegation Request form. Submissions can also be made by email, mail or fax using a print version.
- For ASB Delegations, complete the ASB Delegation Request form. Submissions can also be made by email, mail or fax.
