During the current postal strike, Lamont County is working on all alternatives for accounts payable and invoicing, including any outstanding tax payments or land title requests. With no mail delivery, options include in person at the Admin. Building, online banking, after-hours drop box, and courier delivery. Please be patient as the strike continues. The MDP provides policies to give the opportunity for both industrial and residential development to occur while at the same time conserving the agricultural base of the County. The Municipal Development Plan is to be used by Council, the public, and government agencies to ensure that land development in Lamont County occurs in a fashion which is orderly, efficient, and consistent.
