FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Enbridge and Alliance Pipeline Provide Generous Donation to Lamont County Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Summer Camp Programs
March 30, 2022 – LAMONT, AB: Lamont County has received support for its summer camp programs through generous donations from Enbridge and its partner Alliance Pipeline. This funding helps children in the community be involved in activities and programming through the summer (for children ages 4-17).
Between the two organizations, a $3,000 donation has been provided by Enbridge Inc. and Alliance Pipeline (a joint venture of Enbridge and Pembina Pipeline Corporation). These companies operate and maintain pipelines across Lamont County and Alberta’s Industrial Heartland.
“The summer camp programs are a crucial part of activities for children in Lamont County,” said Sara Rindero, Lamont County’s Director of Family & Community Support Services. “We are very appreciative of this donation as it creates more opportunities for families and children in the region to participate in rewarding events throughout the summer.”
Each year the FCSS team gears up for a summer of fun and excitement, organizing and facilitating summer activities across Lamont County during July and August to keep children active and provide opportunities for unique summer experiences each year.
“We focus on enhancing vibrant communities where we work and live,” said Community and Indigenous Relations Advisor Shelby Kennedy with Enbridge. “Being a good neighbour is important to us, and we are committed to supporting and strengthening our local communities.”
