Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Wildfire Season – Call for Contractors

In preparation for the upcoming Wildfire Season, Lamont County Emergency Services is inviting contractors to express their availability and interest in providing heavy equipment and/or other services (e.g., water hauling) to the Emergency Services department on an “as needed/called in” basis.
 
Interested contractors can request a “Fireline and Mobile Equipment Agreement” package.
