Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Friendly reminder: an additional 10% penalty for overdue Lamont County taxes is applied Jan. 1, 2024. Submit unpaid tax balances before then to avoid penalty.

You can spread out your tax payment monthly throughout the year instead of the full payment at once. Sign up for the pre-authorized monthly tax installment payment plan (TIPP) by Dec. 31 (or in person by Dec. 29) for 2024. lamontcounty.ca/departments/financial-services/property-taxes
