Postal Strike - Water and Garbage Billing (St. Michael/Hilliard)

Be advised during a postal strike, bills are not sent to residents by mail. Pick up a copy of bills for water (St. Michael) or garbage (Hilliard) at the Lamont County Administration Building during normal business hours. We apologize for this inconvenience. NOTE: Bill payment is still due by the normal deadline; unpaid bills will incur late fees.

Ukrainian Flag Raising by Lamont County and Town of Lamont – Friday, March 4

Reeve Diduck and Mayor Perrin invite you to a flag raising in support of Ukraine. Members of the public are invited to observe the flag raising in person or via our social media live stream. #LamontCounty and #TownofLamont and our surrounding municipalities have partnered to show support to Ukraine during this conflict.

Receipted donations for humanitarian aid will be accepted (cash or cheque only). Please visit the Ukrainian Canadian Congress of Alberta website to offer additional humanitarian support (www.uccab.ca).

Former premier Ed Stelmach will offer closing remarks and prayer, and Ukraine’s national anthem will be played during the flag raising.

Note: 50th Ave will be closed to public access between 1:15 and 2:30 p.m. Parking will be on side-streets.
