Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Temporary Road Closures

Please be advised that the following roads are temporarily closed:
 
1. TWP 550 between RR 192N & 192S effective: March 19, 2022 (Spring thaw – water on road); and
2. RR 192 between BTW TWP 540 & 541 effective: March 22, 2022 (Spring thaw – water on road).
 
An update will be provided when the roads are reopened. See the current road and bridge closures for more details.
