Spring Flooding Road Closures

PLEASE NOTE: It is essential that the public obey all road closure signs and barriers for their safety. Anyone found not complying with road closures can be charged $243 for failure to obey a traffic control device. Anyone found responsible for damaging signs or barricades can be charged with criminal mischief and will be required to appear in court and pay restitution.

May 12 Update - There are currently 12 roads closed, 8 open temporarily and 29 that have been reopened. Please view the attached list for details.

May 7 Update - Since the last update on Monday, May 5, RR 163 between HWY 572 & HWY 45 has been closed, and RR 163 between TWP 560 & 562 has been opened. There are now 11 roads closed, 22 open temporarily & 14 that have been opened.

May 5 Update - As of 11:45 a.m., there are 10 roads closed, 23 open temporarily and 12 that have been reopened.

April 30 Update - As of 12:30 p.m., two roads new roads have been closed for a total of 10 roads currently closed due to flooding. Twenty-three roads have been opened temporarily, and 11 have been opened.

April 29 Update As of 4 p.m., there are 11 roads closed, 17 open temporarily & 11 roads have been opened. Please view the attached list for details as status for some roads has shifted and two new closures have been added.

April 28 Update - There are currently 11 roads in the county that remain closed due to flooding; 17 have been opened temporarily, and 12 have been reopened.

April 24 UpdateThere are currently 14 roads in the county that remain closed due to flooding; 10 have been opened temporarily, and nine have been reopened. Please view the list below for details.

Edited at 3:20 p.m. - Three additional roads have been closed:
  • TWP 542 between RR 164 & HWY 855
  • RR 162 between TWP 582 & 584
  • RR 160 between HWY 645 & TWP 572

April 23 Update - Please be advised that RR 195 between TWP 544 & 535 has been closed due to spring flooding.

April 22 UpdatePlease take note that the following roads have been closed temporarily due to spring flooding. Since the last notice was made on April 21, six roads have been opened temporarily; they may close again, depending on conditions.
