Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Resident Flood Recovery

Due to high volumes of rain throughout the County over the July 9-10 weekend, some residents may have experienced flooding on their property. If your property experienced any damage due to flooding at it is not covered under your homeowner's insurance, please contact the County at 780-895-2233 and let us know! The deadline for reporting any damages is August 7, 2016.
