Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Public Meetings for MDP, LUB & Agriculture Master Plan

Lamont County is working on 3 planning projects to enhance the future of the County: Municipal Development Plan, Land Use Bylaw, and Agricultural Master Plan.

3 Public Meetings are planned in December to get your feedback. At these meetings we will be asking questions and documenting your responses to questions including:
  • What does your vision of Lamont County include?
  • What is important to keep the same in Lamont County?
  • What would you like to see happening in Lamont County?
Please plan to join us from 5 pm to 8 pm—presentation at 5:30 pm:
  • Tuesday December 11, 2018 @ Mundare Recreation Centre
  • Wednesday December 12, 2018 @ Andrew Rainbow Club
  • Thursday December 13, 2018 @Lamont Recreation Centre
