Pancake Breakfast for Ukraine Humanitarian Aid
You are invited to join our community to support Ukrainians displaced by the war. On Saturday, June 4, Lamont County, the Town of Lamont, and the Fort Saskatchewan & District Chamber of Commerce are hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser.
Donations of cash and humanitarian aid items (examples may include: clothing, first aid equipment—such as bandages, rubbing alcohol/hydrogen peroxide, over the counter drugs like Tylenol, non-expired food and canned goods, bottled water, etc.) will be accepted to assist those in need related to the war in Ukraine and those displaced in our region. Receipts may be available.
All Ukraine Humanitarian Aid support proceeds to:
-
The Ed Stelmach Community Foundation (monetary); and
- Vegreville Stands With Ukraine (donation centre).
Cenovus Energy has graciously sponsored the breakfast items (pancakes, sausages, juice, coffee/tea), to allow all proceeds to go directly to aid for Ukraine and refugee support within our municipalities. Representatives from various levels of government are planning to attend and bring greetings to support this event, as well as music and entertainment. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
