Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Council has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Notice of PUBLIC HEARING for MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN BYLAW NO. 849-22 LAND USE BYLAW NO. 848-22 (August 15)

Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, S.A., 2000, as amended, the Council of Lamont County proposes to adopt a new Municipal Development Plan and a new Land Use Bylaw for the County.

Public Hearing will be held to provide an opportunity for members of the public to speak to Council on the proposed bylaws commencing at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Lamont Recreation Centre and via Microsoft Teams
