Canada Post Strike: Reminder (Mail Disruption)

During the current postal strike, Lamont County is working on all alternatives for accounts payable and invoicing, including any outstanding tax payments or land title requests. With no mail delivery, options include in person at the Admin. Building, online banking, after-hours drop box, and courier delivery. Please be patient as the strike continues. Contact Administration if an emergent situation occurs.

Notice - Fire Permit Suspension

Please be advised that, due to lack of snow and dry weather conditions, Lamont County Emergency Services will suspend fire permits as of February 28, 2017 in order to prevent wildfires. No fire permits will be issued as of this date. The public will be informed when the suspension is lifted.
