FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Summer Camp Programming Assisted by Enbridge Fueling Futures Grant
June 21, 2023 – LAMONT, AB: Each year Lamont County’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) team gears up for a summer of fun and excitement, organizing and facilitating summer activities across the County during July and August to keep children active and provide opportunities for unique summer experiences each year.
Lamont County has received support for its summer camp programs through a generous donation from Enbridge and its Fueling Futures program. This funding directly helps with community programming for children’s activities through the summer (for children ages 4-17).
“Over the summer, the main activities for children in Lamont County are the Summer Camp programs,” said Sara Rindero, Lamont County’s Director of Family & Community Support Services. “This donation creates more opportunities for families and children to participate in rewarding and fun events throughout the summer. We are very appreciative of this assistance from Enbridge.”
Enbridge has provided a $2,500 donation. Enbridge operates and maintains pipelines across Lamont County and Alberta’s Industrial Heartland, and supports local programs in the community through its grants.
Lamont County thanks Enbridge Inc. for its generous donations towards the summer programming.
“As a good neighbour, we focus on enhancing vibrant communities where we work and live,” said Enbridge’s Community and Indigenous Relations Advisor, Shelby Kennedy. “It is important for us to be a part of the communities we live and work; we are committed to supporting and strengthening our local communities.”
