Canada Post Strike: Reminder (Mail Disruption)

During the current postal strike, Lamont County is working on all alternatives for accounts payable and invoicing, including any outstanding tax payments or land title requests. With no mail delivery, options include in person at the Admin. Building, online banking, after-hours drop box, and courier delivery. Please be patient as the strike continues. Contact Administration if an emergent situation occurs.

New Safety Code Permit Provider

Lamont County has recently changed providers for safety code permits, and will no longer be using The Inspections Group for permitting.

Anyone who has already received permits from the Inspections Group is able to continue working with them; however, anyone needing a permit as of January 1, 2018, must contact Superior Safety Codes Inc.
