LUB/MDP Open House – July 14
The public and stakeholders are invited to Lamont County’s Open House on July 14 from 4-7 p.m. at the Lamont Hall Meeting Room. The purpose of this engagement is for the public to have opportunity to review the revised draft and provide final input towards the Land Use Bylaw (LUB) and Municipal Development Plan (MDP) updates for 2022. Written comments can also be submitted to Lamont County Administration by mail or in person before 4 p.m. on July 14.

Stantec is presenting the updated LUB and MDP for public engagement and discussion. Light refreshments will be available.
Lamont County has a Land Use Bylaw which was adopted in 2007, amendments were made in 2018 and this is the revised draft for 2022. The Municipal Development Plan has also been revised accordingly for 2022. Updates are based on stakeholder and public consultations, best practices and the direction of Lamont County. Residents and stakeholders can attend the open house session or provide feedback prior to this date.
The finalized MDP and LUB are updated with the feedback received and presented to Council later this year based on the information received.
