Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Livestock Emergency Management Plan Public Engagement Workshop

At 5:30 p.m. on November 23, 2017, at St. Michael Hall, join the Lamont County Agricultural Services and Emergency Services departments to learn and discuss the Livestock Emergency Management Plan!

The plan will complement the existing Municipal Emergency Management Plan. Strategies will also be discussed on emergency preparation for your farm and agricultural operation. Light supper will be provided!
