Land Titles Office Delays (GOA)
Alberta Land Titles is reporting a three-to-four month delay in processing land title transfers.
This means some Lamont County land title information may not be updated for properties purchased during and after February 2022. Ownership information for these properties may not have been received before tax notices were mailed at the beginning of June.
Please note: failure to receive your tax notice does not exempt you from late payment penalties. Property owners are responsible to ensure property taxes are paid on time.
If you have purchased property in 2022 or the title has changed on your property, please contact the Finance Department at 780-895-2233 and provide your new property ownership information.
