Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Council has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Lamont County Open House

Please join us for the 2nd Annual Lamont County Open House, Wednesday June 8 from 5-7 p.m. at the St. Michael Hall! The star of the show will be the Grand Opening of the St. Michael Indoor Play Center (ribbon cutting at 5:30)!

There will be free BBQ, Bouncy House and glitter tattoos, so bring your kids! Booths from County departments and community services such as Elk Island Public Schools, Primary Care Network, Accurate Assessment, Alberta Transportation and much more will also be available to answer your questions.

Cash and food donations to the County of Lamont Food Bank are being accepted, so bring a donation!
