Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Please join us for an information update from industry and industry-related organizations within Lamont County's Industrial Heartland. Hear about current industrial projects, activities and plans, and get updates from Lamont County Economic Development and Planning departments, and committees.

Industry representatives at booths will be available to speak with residents and answer questions about their activities in Lamont County's Industrial Heartland. A light meal and refreshments will be provided.

Registration is Required. Please RSVP by emailing info@lamontcounty.ca or by calling Heather at 780-895-2233 ext. 222 by December 1, 2015.

Current participating industry includes: Transcanada, Meg Energy, Symmetry, Alberta Midland Train Terminal

Also Present: Life in the Heartland, Lamont County Economic Development, Planning and Development and Emergency Services departments, Oil and Gas Transportation Exploration and Extraction Committee (OGEETC).
