Enbridge Donates $10,000 to CALC

Enbridge Pipelines Inc. presented the Lamont County Community Adult Learning Council (CALC) with a cheque for $10,000 on September 25, in recognition and support of CALCs efforts to provide literacy initiatives in the community.

The Enbridge Community Investment program is committed to making communities near their projects and operations a better place to live by supporting numerous educational, health, social services, arts and culture, enviromental, civic leadership and volunteerism projects. According to their website, in 2013 Enbridge invested approximately $14 million (CAD) in 750 organizations across the United States and Canada.

Debbie Holland, Director of CALC, expressed her gratitude on behalf of CALC, stating that "this donation freed up some much needed money so we could offer another program."
