Canada Post Strike: Reminder (Mail Disruption)

During the current postal strike, Lamont County is working on all alternatives for accounts payable and invoicing, including any outstanding tax payments or land title requests. With no mail delivery, options include in person at the Admin. Building, online banking, after-hours drop box, and courier delivery. Please be patient as the strike continues. Contact Administration if an emergent situation occurs.

Early Steps Conference 2016

Parenting can be TOUGH, so we decided to pull together several of our best local resources and put it all into one day just for YOU!

Join us as we discuss some hot topics that parents in Lamont County want to know about. Let's gather and learn tools to manage the stresses and joys of parenting. Presentations include "Positive Solutions for Families", "Massage for the Growing Child", "Proven Strategies for Picky Eaters", "Is Your Child's Development on Track?" and more! Guest speaker Sean Lecomber will end the day with laughter, sharing stories from his own experiences as a stay-at-home-dad.

This event will require a refundable $5 payment. When you come, you get your money back! Hot lunch will be provided. Free childcare is available, including a picture with Santa!
