Community Adult Learning Council Fall Lineup

It's September, and that means the Community Adult Learning Council is back in session! 

Courses currently scheduled include:

Air Brakes - Saturday September 24, 2016 from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Lamont County Public Works. The fee is $250, and testing MUST be done at a registry.

Fire Arm Safety - Saturday October 15, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Bruderheim Fire Hall. The fee is $135. In order to apply to obtain a possession of ownership license, this course is mandatory.

CALC also has many courses available to be run with enough interest. Please Email CALC if you have interest in any of the following: 

Not For Profit courses – FREE:

• Roles and Responsibilities of Board Members
• The Benefits of Strategic Planning
• Board Bylaws and Policies: Why they are critical to an effective board.
• Recruiting and Retaining Volunteers

Personal Skills Enhancement Courses:

• Basic ledger bookkeeping - ideal for small business owners. Once you understand the basic principles of accounting you can choose a software program that will meet your needs.
• Kitchen math refresher course
• Stretching Your Dollars
• Nutrition on a Budget
