Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

CAUTION Roadside Mulching Program

Lamont County Agricultural Services will be working on roadside mulching throughout the winter, and signs are posted to enforce temporary closure of the road while they work.

Please obey the signs! If you enter the closed area, the County will NOT be at fault for any damage to vehicles. Enforcement by the Lamont County Peace Officer will be taking place.
