Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Call for Open Farm Day Participants

Are you a value-added producer with an operation worth bragging about? Would you be willing to let the public see behind the scenes?

Lamont County Agricultural Services and Economic Development Departments are looking for local producers willing to show off their operations during Open Farm Days on August 19th and 20th. Agricultural Industry we're interested in showcasing includes specialty animal production facilities (goat, bison, pork etc.), honey producers, you pick farms, grain producers, and operations of all sizes.
