Burn Permits and Crop Burning

Please be aware that fire permits are now being issued for the burning of 4x4 debris piles. To apply for a fire permit, visit www.lcemergencyservices.com.

Further, landowners with unharvested crops who would like to burn as a way to quickly remove the crop can apply for a special one-time fire permit. Permits are only issued through the Emergency Services Fire Chief at the Lamont County Administration building, and specific conditions must be met. 

These permits will only be issued until June 16, 2017.
