Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

ATCO Meter Installation (Feb.-Dec.)

Starting in Feb. (likely in April and May for Lamont County) and continuing through 2024, ATCO is installing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Radio Gateways & Meters. These upgrades are across Alberta and allows ATCO to continue providing safe and reliable electricity service.
