Assessment Model Letter-Writing Campaign

Lamont County is extremely concerned about the Government of Alberta's proposed changes to oil and gas property assessments, so we're holding a letter-writing campaign!

When Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville MLA, Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk, was told that a lot of residents had expressed their concerns on our Facebook page, during the Lamont County Council Meeting on August 11, 2020, she said "tell them to write a letter or an email".  So that's what we're doing!

Get the facts about what the assessment model will mean for Lamont County, then join us in our letter-writing campaign to our MLA and the Government of Alberta! Tell our elected officials what you think about the shifting of tax burden from oil and gas companies to municipal ratepayers.

Submit your letter at www.LamontCounty.ca/Speak-Up and make your voice heard!
