Canada Post Strike: Reminder (Mail Disruption)

During the current postal strike, Lamont County is working on all alternatives for accounts payable and invoicing, including any outstanding tax payments or land title requests. With no mail delivery, options include in person at the Admin. Building, online banking, after-hours drop box, and courier delivery. Please be patient as the strike continues. Contact Administration if an emergent situation occurs.

2nd & 3rd Reading for ASP, MDP & LUB Amending Bylaws

At the February 13, 2018, council meeting, first reading was provided for the Heartland Area Structure Plan and amending bylaws for the Municipal Development Plan and the Land Use Bylaw.

Please be advised that 2nd and 3rd readings are planned to take place during the May 8, 2018, council meeting. Public is welcome to attend.

Copies of the proposed ASB and amending bylaws for the MDP and LUB are available at the Lamont County Administration Building and on the Planning & Development ASP page.
