Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Emergency Services has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

2019 Yard Site Beautification Award Winners

On August 16, 2019, Lamont County Agricultural Service Board held its annual Yard Site Beautification Awards. The award recipients and County representatives toured around Lamont County visiting the yards of residents who have put in a lot of time and hard work into their attractive yards.
