2019 Clubroot Maps

The first case of clubroot in Alberta was confirmed in 2003 near Edmonton; Lamont County has found positive cases since 2012. Maps of clubroot in Alberta and Lamont County in 2019 can be found below.

Currently, clubroot cannot be eradicated from a field using economical control measures. The best management practice at this point is to thoroughly sanitize equipment when changing fields, plant clubroot resistant varieties and enforce adequate crop rotation time.
