Fire Ban - Lamont County (April 25)

FIRE BAN Due to dry conditions Lamont County Council has issued a fire ban, effective immediately.  No open fires or burning are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County, no exceptions.  ALL FIRE PERMITS ARE SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Propane Barbeques will be allowed for cooking purposes only. And MUST be attended to at all times while in use.

Hilliard Water Station Upgrade Planned for December 14-18

Lamont County Utilities is notifying customers of scheduled upgrades to the Hilliard Water Station planned for December 14 – 18, 2020. On December 15, the Truck Fill system will be “nonoperational” for 6 Hours; however, the Bucket Fill line will still be operational. On December 17, the Bucket Fill line will be “nonfunctional” while that line is upgraded; however, the Truck Fill will be operational.

The scheduled work and contracted workers will be starting at 7:30 a.m. and working until 5:00 p.m. Please use extra caution when driving onto the grounds of the Hilliard Water station. Please continue to check the Flow Point Cabinet doors for posted outage notices.

Residents can be reassured that Lamont County will continue to provide potable water during this event. Thank you for your patience and support during this scheduled upgrade.
