A FIRE RESTRICTION is issued for Lamont County effective May 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. This restriction is due to continued dry conditions, lack of precipitation, and increased wind speeds.

Take notice that the following permit for proposed development as described below has been issued in accordance with the Lamont County Land Use Bylaw No. 675/07:

  1. Legal Description: Plan 0521003, Block 1, Lot 1 (NNE 7-53-18-W4)          
    Land Use: Agricultural District (A)
    Proposal: For a staging area for online auction/auction sales activities
    Permit No.: DP 052/21

The Land Use Bylaw provides that the person applying for the permit or affected by the order, or any other person affected by an order, decision or development permit of a Development Authority may appeal to the Land and Property Rights Tribunal (LPRT) whose address is 2nd Floor, Summerside Business Centre, 1229 – 91 Street SW, Edmonton Alberta, T6X 1E9 within twenty-one (21) days after the date of notice.
