To establish an emergency services operating reserve. This reserve will providefunding to address fluctuations in costs associated with fire responses, emergencytype expenditures or for non-budgeted operating items that require funding andCouncil approval during the year.
To establish an emergency service reserve. This reserve will provide funding inorder to retain a stable municipal taxation structure and to fund emergency servicecapital expenditures items in such areas as buildings, equipment and vehicles.
The purpose of this policy is to: Ensure the compliance with the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, To reduce the County's liability and risk of litigation due to inappropriate handling of information, and Protect the County's reputation.
