Bruderheim Natural Area Reclassification |
The Government of Alberta is going through a process of reclassifying the Bruderheim Natural Area to a public recreation area. This process is now in the public consultation stage and the Province is asking for feedback from the general population.

FIRE BAN UPDATE!
News Release
Effective 14:00:00 pm - July 14, 2010
Lamont County would like to notify all County Residents of the update to the Fire Ban Conditions. The Fire Ban has been downgraded to a low fire hazard status.
Fire Permits will be issued. As the County is experiencing WET CONDITIONS the potential for fires is low.
Please remember ALL BURNING (with the exception of fire pits and garbage cans provided they are used with a spark arresting screen) requires a Fire Permit no matter how small or quick the burn will be.
Please do your part, do not leave fires unattended.
Please note: This effects Lamont County and Hamlets within the County
Lamont County wants you to be aware that the cost of extinguishing any fire could be at YOUR expense.
